If you’re going to bang on about how important it is to always knit a tension square, don’t forget to put gauge instructions in your own patterns.

On this note, I have just updated my George coffee cup cosy pattern to include said requirements, after an email from a knitter who couldn’t make the cosy fit any mug or cup. It would fit as a wrist warmer however, which can be worn as below. But that’s not really the point, is it?

In my defence, it was the first pattern that I had written (for other people to use), but really, I should take my own advice more often!
